Counselling, Relationship and Sex Therapy

By gaining insight into how significant relationships and events have shaped your feelings, communication, and actions, you'll develop a deeper understanding of yourself. Therapy will help untangle the emotional knots that have been holding you back.

Since 2006, I have been committed to helping  individuals and couples strengthen their relationships, and improve their mental and sexual health. I work online and in person.

Therapy puts words to the feelings, that would otherwise remain painful or unresolved. Its ok to start therapy, without knowing exactly what's wrong.

Working together you'll gain a new outlook on your circumstances enabling you to;

  • Let go of past hurt

  • Make choices

  • Connect with your needs

  • Take charge of your life

  • Find a way forward

You can discuss anything, including what might otherwise feel taboo. I don’t offer quick fixes or surface-level solutions, but instead work with clients to gradually understand the deeper patterns and meanings in their emotional lives. I have particular experience of working with the following issues;

  • A difficulty in trusting others

  • Sexual Anxiety

  • Problems in relationships (Sex, Fidelity, Conflict)

  • Feeling irritated frustrated or angry

  • Low Sexual Desire "Cant be bothered"

  • Feeling; lost, isolated and different

  • Interest in kink, fetish and non-monogamous relationship models

  • A lack of self love or self compassion

  • Thoughts that can't be got rid of

  • Self-Sabotage when in relationships

  • Putting other peoples needs, before your own.

  • Problematic use of the internet

  • Fear of failure â€‹

Sex Therapy

Sex therapy is a specialised form of counseling that’s designed to help treat sexual issues.  Depending on your specific problem, sex therapy might involve learning more about your sexual health and needs as an individual, overcoming anxiety or nervousness about sex, improving the level of intimacy with your partner or many other things. There’s no official list of problems that sex therapy can “solve” and that’s mainly because sex therapy isn’t really about your symptoms — it’s about what’s causing those symptoms. By focusing on the underlying causes, sex therapy can definitely address symptoms that you’re having.
